Join The Mahjong Society at Sushi-san Lincoln Park for a beginner-friendly Mahjong 101 class where you'll learn the fundamentals of American mahjong while enjoying one of Chicago's favorite restaurants. It's the perfect excuse for a night out with friends—or to come solo and leave with a few new ones.
We'll guide you through everything you need to know, from the tiles and rules to playing your first hands with confidence. No experience is necessary, and we'll provide all the sets, materials, and instruction.
Come hungry, bring your curiosity, and get ready to discover why mahjong is everyone's newest obsession. Great food, great company, and a game you'll be playing long after dinner is over.
